Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst, Trade Funds for the Sales department. This position will be responsible for ensuring all pricing and spend agreements are timely and accurately entered into the transactional system of record for assigned list of accounts including Best Buy and Target US & Canada Video & Games. Will be responsible for ensuring the timely set up of pricing and alignment with customer pricing. Will be responsible to ensure the timely processing of trade credits.
The Daily
Ensure all spend and pricing deals are entered at the sku level accurately and are committed timely to ensure accurate pricing and timely credits. Monitor deals for accuracy and compliance with terms and programs.
Monitor for any pricing or deal conflicts/overlaps. Ensure timely and accurate resolution. Work with third party on the validation and processing of trade credits.
Monitor reprices and the impact of pricing deals. Adjust deals accordingly to ensure pricing aligns with customer pricing.
Analyze retail performance (POS) data. Determine Siebel estimate adjustments required for financial accrual reporting. Update revenue and spend estimates monthly/quarterly for assigned list of accounts.
Monitor pricing errors, identify root cause and ensure teams are notified or resolution is executed.
Monitor AR/ deductions weekly. Ensure timely offset of credits to deductions. Identify and escalate disputes as needed. Work with CCO to ensure disputes are managed in customer system timely.
Create macros to further streamline tracking of all promotion performance and reconciliation.
The Essentials
BS/BA degree required.
3+ years experience in financial analysis or relevant experience required.
Entertainment industry/Home Entertainment experience is desirable.
Experience in CPG industry preferred.
Trade Spend/Fund Management experience preferred.
Experience working with retail customers (i.e. Wal*Mart, Best Buy, Target, Amazon) is desirable.
PC Skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Business Objects) – Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
Experience with VBA and Python preferred.
Strong Analytical Skills.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with all levels of personnel.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with other departments including Accounting, Finance and Customer Credit.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must be able to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
Must be able to proactively identify issues & develop solutions to address.
Project Management skills.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
